Garaj, the enterprise cloud arm of JazzWorld, has joined hands with Sapphire Group of Companies. The plan focuses on building a high-density infrastructure zone in Pakistan. The goal is to support growing demand for cloud services, AI systems, and enterprise computing.
Both sides see the same gap. More data-heavy applications are coming in, but local systems still need stronger foundations. This project is meant to close that gap and support local data processing instead of depending on external systems.
AI and Cloud Workloads Get Focus
The new setup will sit at the center of Garaj’s expansion in AI infrastructure and cloud services. The company plans to support workloads that need heavy computing power, including machine learning models and Agentic AI tools.
These are not light applications. They need stable systems, fast processing, and strong uptime. The new infrastructure is being planned with that in mind.
The aim is simple. Let businesses build and run advanced systems inside Pakistan without facing limitations from outdated infrastructure.
Stronger Cloud Setup and Better Reliability
Garaj is also working on improving its hybrid cloud system. That includes better automation and stronger backup systems. If one part of the system fails, another can take over without disruption.
This matters most for sectors like banking, fintech, and large enterprises. These industries cannot afford downtime, even for a short period.
There is also a push to increase colocation capacity. More rack space, higher power density, and faster connectivity are part of the plan. The system will connect through high-speed fiber links and global cloud entry points.
Leadership of the Partnership
Shahzad Rasheed from JazzWorld said the focus is on building infrastructure that can handle future demand. He pointed to the need for scale, resilience, and digital independence for enterprise users in Pakistan.
From Sapphire Group, Hasan Abdullah said the project is a long-term investment in Pakistan’s digital direction. He mentioned that stable infrastructure is needed for the next phase of enterprise and industrial growth.
Step Toward AI-Ready Infrastructure
This partnership is part of a larger shift in the country’s tech space. Demand for high-density computing environments is rising. AI adoption is also growing across industries.
Garaj’s roadmap now includes new systems. These systems will support always-on services and AI-native workloads. The focus is shifting toward performance, stability, and local hosting capacity.
The project is still in an early stage. Still, it signals a clear direction. Pakistan’s digital ecosystem is moving toward more advanced systems. It is also moving toward more locally controlled infrastructure.
