Pakistan’s cotton arrivals at ginning factories have remained broadly stable this season, with total seed cotton reaching about 5.50 million bales by mid-January, nearly flat compared to last year’s figures. Sindh province has posted a year-on-year increase, contributing around 2.91 million bales, while Punjab’s arrivals declined slightly, reflecting a shift in regional production dynamics. The stable overall output is a positive sign for the textile supply chain and raw material availability ahead of the peak manufacturing period.
